The Rev. John Hamilton

The Rev. John Hamilton has been the Rector of St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church since March 2017. A native of Mississippi, Father John began his career at IBM before being called to the ministry and becoming an ordained Episcopal priest in 2004. In addition to serving as rector at St. John’s Church in Yonkers, NY, for more than 11 years, Father John has served as an interim priest and curate at several other Episcopal churches. He also taught school in Honduras during which time he became fluent in Spanish. He holds a BA in foreign languages from Rhodes College, a BA in Theology from England’s University of Oxford, and a MDiv from General Theological Seminary in NYC.

Gladys Otero-Wallace

Gladys Otero-Wallace joined the staff as Parish Administrator in 2018 though she and her husband, Ben Wallace, have been members since 2010. Gladys’s experience in customer service, retail and design is serving the parish well as she interacts with members, handles the weekly church communications, and provides support for numerous other projects.
